Big Fat Party is a brand-new interactive daytime event from former Bongo's Bingo host Richie Furness, who hosted nine years of unforgettable parties at The Albert Hall. It's soundtracked by non-stop anthems, with a communal atmosphere and wall-to-wall chaos. The best part? Volunteers get put into the middle of the action to Sing, Dance, Compete, win Prizes and become stars of the show!

THE MUSIC
BIG FAT PARTY = BIG FAT TUNES
A Big Fat Party needs Big Fat Tunes, and you can expect five hours of non-stop anthems, big singalongs and tunes that get everyone dancing!
Whether it's Abba or Avicii, Dolly or Daft Punk, Oasis or Olivia Rodrigo, you'll hear 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, Boybands, Girlbands, Pop, Rock, Country, Indie, Hip-Hop, R&B, UK Garage, House, Throwbacks, a bit of Donk, and everything in between!
The whole point is a Big Fat Party for everyone. And yes, of course there's a mini Rave!
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS?
YOU COULD BE PART OF THE SHOW!
Throughout the afternoon, volunteers who choose to take part are randomly picked from the crowd to Sing, Dance, Compete, take on ridiculous Challenges and play familiar live Game-Shows, with GUARANTEED PRIZES for everyone who get's up! It's unpredictable, chaotic and completely audience-driven.

DANCE OFF
Choose a Dance form and you could be called up to bust a move. But to what style of music?!

KARAOKE
Choose a Sing form and you could be performing front and centre. But you might have an opponent, or a partner!

CHALLENGE
Choose a Challenge form and you could be up against opponents taking on something completely ridiculous!

One person every hour is randomly selected to take part in a familiar Game Show, with the chance to win a Cash Prize!
HOW IT WORKS
YOUR NAME. YOUR CHOICE.
YOUR CHANCE TO GET ON STAGE!
You choose how involved you want to be before the show starts and there's no pressure on anyone to get on stage if they don't want to. Participation is VOLUNTARY ONLY! If you just want a chance at winning a Cash prize, then just grab a Gameshow form. If you want to be part of the show and win prizes, pick one extra form. Choose wisely!
If you're a bit shy, you don't have to enter at all and can just cheer on your mates, sing and dance your heart out, and enjoy the non stop chaos!

A STUNNING SPACE FOR
A BIG FAT PARTY!
The Grosvenor is fast becoming one of Manchester’s most celebrated venues. Aesthetically beautiful, packed with character and backed by an amazing sound system, it has a stunning drinks menu, photo booth, Karaoke booth, carousel horses, beer pong, pool tables, darts boards, an indoor garden, peep show lounge and more!
With its huge floral ceiling, balcony and lots of different spaces to explore, it’s a venue that feels like part of the show itself. Whether you're volunteering and getting involved, cheering on your mates or there to enjoy five hours of tunes and chaos, its a venue to get lost in!
SEATING: Seating downstairs is on a first-come, first-served basis. But don’t worry if you end up upstairs, as the balcony has seating, booths and an eyeline view of the DJ gallery. There's no sitting on hard steps in here!

Formerly of Bongo’s Bingo, Richie Furness spent a decade at the heart of one of the UK’s biggest party shows, hosting packed rooms around the UK and abroad. Across nine years, Richie hosted 500+ shows at The Albert Hall to over 300,000 people, giving people some of the best nights out of their lives and achieving the feat of becoming a Scouser that Mancunians warmed to!
Revered for his infamous Rave sections and music choices, Richie's been DJing for 25 years and lives for big tunes and even bigger crowd reactions. Big Fat Party is his very own brand new event to enable him to continue to make hundreds of people sing, dance, and leave having had an amazing time.
THE REFEREE
KEEPING THINGS IN CHECK
Every host needs an assistant.
Luckily, Richie has a raunchy referee on hand at every show to make sure all contests and challenges are played fairly. He'll have his whistle handy and be ready to red card any cheating bastards!
We can’t promise that there won’t be any funny business from the referee himself though, and we can't promise that he'll keep his uniform on!

THE SENSIBLE BIT
FAQS / TERMS & CONDITIONS.
Big Fat Party is supposed to be chaotic. The boring bits still need rules. These terms apply to entry, audience participation, competitions and prizes unless an individual event states otherwise.

TICKETS & ENTRY
A valid ticket is required. Venue and ticketing terms apply. Entry may be refused for safety, intoxication, abusive behaviour or rule breaches. Age restrictions appear on the event listing.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
Taking part is voluntary. Submitting a Game Show, Sing, Dance or Challenge entry means volunteering for selection. Entry does not guarantee a place on stage.

GAME SHOW SELECTION
One entrant every hour is randomly selected for game-show rounds. Games and potential cash prizes vary and will be explained at the event.

SING, DANCE & CHALLENGE
Guests can submit one additional Sing, Dance or Challenge card in the matching box to be considered for participation.

STAGE SAFETY
Unsafe, aggressive or excessively intoxicated participants may be refused participation or removed from the stage. Please follow instructions from hosts, referees and staff.

CHALLENGES
Participation is voluntary and can stop at any time. Challenges may be changed or cancelled for safety or practical reasons.

PRIZES
Everyone taking part on stage wins a prize. Winners receive better prizes. Runners up receive smaller prizes. Prize types and values vary between shows.

CASH GAME
Cash amounts and game rules are announced at the event. Winning requires completing the game under those rules. Decisions are final, except for obvious errors.

THE REFEREE
The referees keep games fair and prevent cheating. Their decisions are final, subject to correcting obvious mistakes. Mischief from referees is not entirely ruled out.

PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Events may be filmed or photographed. Additional consent will be sought where legally required. Speak to event staff about specific concerns.

CHANGES TO THE SHOW
Games, songs, challenges, performers, running order and prizes will change between events.

VENUE RULES & BELONGINGS
Venue security, accessibility and conduct rules apply. Guests remain responsible for personal belongings.

Yes! Five hours of non-stop party anthems, loads of singing and dancing, plus a Rave with huge tunes!

Big Fat Party does not tolerate any form of discrimination of any type and is a safe space for all. If you have concerns please speak to security or our event staff.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Refunds and cancellations follow the ticket provider's terms and applicable consumer law. Statutory rights are unaffected.
